With an international career highlighted by over 15 years in Japan, 5 years in Switzerland and 2 years in Singapore, Scott led risk management and structured & project finance teams in top-tier financial institutions such as Citibank, Standard Chartered Bank, the former Bear Stearns, JP Morgan and Morgan Stanley.

Natively fluent in Japanese and business proficient in French, German and Italian (and conversational in many others), Scott helped lead Bear Stearns integrate its fixed income trading and commercial real estate portfolio in Japan into JP Morgan during the tumultuous 2008 global financial crisis as the country branch's Head of Risk.   Prior to that, Scott held numerous corporate banking roles in the front office at Citibank and leading risk at Standard Chartered Bank.

Scott also led diverse teams managing the risks of structured & commodity finance transactions at physical commodity traders Trafigura in Switzerland and Noble Resources in Singapore.   He spearheaded new product trading initiatives in Asia, Africa and the Middle East with a focus on credit, market and operational risk, and championed capital partner relationships for the firms.

Scott also led commercial real estate origination & project development at EXE Design Co., Ltd. in Tokyo, where he served as the financing director for the development of office and residential properties in Vietnam and Myanmar in the early 1990s.  He later headed real estate finance underwriting and CRM development at Riverbend Lending in Portland, Oregon before its sale to CoreVest American Finance in 2022.

Born and raised in New Jersey and now a Palm Beach County Floridian, Scott holds an MBA with honors from Cornell University, a B.A. from The College Of New Jersey and certificates from Kansai Gaidai University in Japan and Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand.   Apart from leading Jupiter, Scott enjoys international travel to off-the-beaten-track countries, hiking, golf, classic European cars, and is a jazz buff and self-confessed wine snob (and enthusiast).

Scott Brown is an Operations & Supply Chain executive with over 28 years of experience in international retail, sales, product sourcing & manufacturing, e-commerce, logistics, distribution, consulting and technology industries.   As Head of Operations, Scott provides strategic advice and direction related to the growth of Jupiter's franchise as well as its future goals.

As company co-founder of Steamchain Corporation, a financial technology company that simplifies payment processes in the multi-trillion dollar shipping and logistics industry, Scott was responsible for designing operational processes, the creation and development of proprietary solution architecture, the design and leadership of business development, the HRP organizational structure, its business prioritization processes, and its technology strategies in support of building an emerging globally competitive fintech company. 

As Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Axian, Inc., which provides business intelligence and collaboration software solutions for a wide range of industries he led the company´s growth by 300%.  

Scott compliments this with successful development of strategic partnerships, such as working with the City of Beaverton and State of Oregon to create and direct a Technology Learning & Development Program.

Prior to this role, Scott advanced through multiple operational roles in an extensive senior-level leadership career at $49 billion Nike, Inc., with roles including NIKEiD Product Development & Operations Director; Asia Pacific Supply Chain Development Director; Global Manufacturing Operations Director, Global Footwear; and Manufacturing Operations Manager, Global Footwear.

Based in Portland, Oregon, Scott holds a BA in Business Administration from the University of Oregon.

Laura Hogan has an extensive 25 year career as a marketing executive for high-growth companies. Spanning across wholesale, distribution, retail, CPG, manufacturing, and commodities.    As Head of Marketing, Laura leads the effort to communicate Jupiter's vision and expertise to the world of our target markets as well as leads marketing projects related to our core disciplines of technology, risk/audit/compliance and operations & infrastructure.

Laura specializes in leading partner relationship-building programs that promote strategic growth for organizations while cultivating and maintaining key relationships with executives, strategic partners, and suppliers.

Combining astute strategic, business, and financial skills with a record of accomplishment of multi-million dollar revenue and profit growth, Laura has led many successful national marketing programs across multiple industries.

Laura’s progressive and innovative approach is highly valued in interpreting corporate vision and strategy, translating objectives into actionable plans throughout sales and marketing departments, and providing decisive leadership to cross-functional teams.

Laura’s leadership roles include managing designers, media teams, agencies, field marketers, tech stack, and product development.

Based in Denver, Colorado,  where she enjoys the great outdoors, Laura holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Missouri State University and is an avid golfer, fisherman, and traveler.
