RAJ MAWAD

Raj is an ex-alternative investment fund manager of 12 years with a peak AUM of $1.2B in the derivatives space.


He raised $150MM across four funds, the last fund being institutional investors like Texas Teachers Fund and CalPers. 


After exiting he became a dad and moved to his passion of wellness with a focus of preventative medicine.  Raj is a financier turned serial entrepreneur,

 

Raj built a DTC wellness company leveraging last mile distribution channels via REIT partners and is currently on his 4th company, a two sided platform play in the SaaS space. 


Based in Seattle, Washington, Raj has graduate degrees in applied math and econometrics with a persistent curiosity and a passion for helping startups and companies scaling in non traditional capital markets.

ANDRE SEARS

Andre is a strategic business development leader who helps organizations navigate the intersection of business strategy and human behavior.  With more than a decade of experience in trust, financial, and professional services, Andre brings a consultative, systems-oriented approach to growth grounded in behavioral science and the psychology of decision-making.


At Jupiter, Andre leads relationship strategy and business development for the firm’s consulting and fiduciary partnerships.  He works with executives and advisory teams to design frameworks that align operational efficiency with how people actually think, decide, and build trust.  Guided by a philosophy of stewardship over salesmanship, he focuses on clarity, communication, and disciplined process design to help clients make confident, informed decisions in complex financial and organizational environments.


Before joining Jupiter, Andre served as a senior business development officer for a national fiduciary and trust organization, where he directed expansion efforts and developed scalable partnership systems across domestic and international markets. 


Andre is known for working at the intersection of strategy and execution, connecting high-level vision with operational precision to create measurable results.  He is recognized for translating behavioral insights into practical business solutions that strengthen relationships and deliver long-term value.  Andre currently serves on the Board of Trustees for Helping Hands of Vegas Valley and is a former member of the Board of Trustees for the Southern Nevada Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, where he also served as Corporate Walk Chairman for the Southern Nevada Light the Night Walk.


Based in Las Vegas, Nevada, Andre holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Boise State University.  Andre enjoys travel, golf, sports, and fitness, embracing an active lifestyle that mirrors the focus and balance he brings to his professional work.

CHRISTOPHER RUCKER

Chris carries with him more than 30 years of proven leadership excellence, including extensive C-level experience in business development, hospitality and private club sales and management, with emphasis on macro, micro, and direct sales processes.

    

Through demonstrated stewardship and a visionary approach to multiple hospitality verticals, Chris has been a significant force in transformational sales and revenue expansion, in both new venue construction and renovation/reinvention and same store hospitality ventures.

   

From private golf and country club to sports resorts and full-service hotels and event centers, his “hospitality first” mentality and approach strategically and effectively contributes to the mission of maximizing ownership objectives and driving top-tier performance, while authentically driving customer loyalty through exceptional experiences.


Chris studied Hospitality Management at Cornell University and is based in  

Washington, DC.

SCOTT DALY

Scott brings more than 25 years of executive leadership experience spanning strategic planning, start-up development, and high-growth business strategy.  


Throughout his career in technology solutions, Scott has partnered with organizations of all sizes, from global corporations and mid-market companies to emerging start-ups, helping them scale through innovation, operational excellence, and sound financial strategy.


A former business owner, Scott, combines extensive sales expertise with a deep understanding of operations and financial modeling, giving him a holistic approach to driving organizational success.


Most recently before joining Jupiter, Scott spent over a decade in leadership roles at smaller high-growth technology companies where his leadership contributed to significant revenue growth, successful investment rounds, and an IPO.  


Based in the Denver area, Scott holds a BBA in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin.

TAMARA COLGAN

Tamara brings more than a decade of experience in business development, management consulting, and entrepreneurship.  Her background includes senior management and directorships in various industries, both in the public and private sectors.


She has a proven track record in data analytics, financial analysis, and market research.  Her pragmatic approach involves collaborating closely with clients to understand their needs holistically, guaranteeing that the strategies she creates are effective, practical, and actionable.

Tamara assists clients in navigating the endless mountains of data to allow for strategic data-driven decision-making. 


She holds a BCom degree from McGill University, specializing in Marketing and Finance, and is equipped with multi-faceted knowledge.  She is currently an M.S. candidate at Columbia University in Applied Data Analytics.


Based in Las Vegas, Nevada, Tamara is committed to her professional growth and personal interests. Her continuous learning and improvement in her craft reassure clients of her adaptability and growth mindset.  She is an avid weightlifter and loves to travel and cook. 

VP, Private Capital Markets - Venture Finance

A.J. NORONHA

Through a broad range of work experience, A.J. has developed a unique combination of skills that allow him to add value to investing, advisory, & entrepreneurial roles in both public & private markets.  A.J. is involved with firms focused on high-potential private market opportunities in cleantech, medical, and other technology innovations, and helped found a long/short global public equities investment firm that has demonstrated consistent alpha creation.


Professionally, A.J has a diverse academic & work background, with a particular interest in financial, early-stage, and other collaborative working environments such as Jupiter.  He has 10+ years of experience with both public and private investing roles within the financial industry, including equity research, PE/VC, valuation, investment due diligence, qualitative & quantitative analysis.  He successfully completed the Venture Institute Emerging Manager program where he was recognized as a top performer in his cohort, and also completed the International Climate Finance Accelerator Emerging Manager training course.


He began his career working for a mid-market PE/VC fund, and also co-founded and served in a C-level role for an award-winning biomedical engineering startup. He earned a degree in Finance, magna cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame, where he was selected to be a member of the prestigious Applied Investment Management honors finance course where students manage a portion of the University endowment under the guidance of the Chief Investment Officer, and also holds a J.D. with Dean's List honors & a concentration in business enterprise (selected coursework taken through the Kellogg School of Management) from Northwestern University. 


Based in Chicago, A.J. is a proud CFA Charterholder, is an active Candidate Member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Chicago where he serves on its Professional Development Advisory Group Board, and is a member of Irish Entrepreneurs & Harvard Alumni Entrepreneurs.

THOMAS BISHOP

Tom’s experience includes the development of demand generation and sales enablement strategies for companies ranging from startups to global technology giants. He has implemented go-to-market plans and technology stacks for firms providing solutions and services for data management, cloud and SaaS platforms, media and entertainment, education and learning, eCommerce, and cybersecurity.


With a proven track record of building marketing strategies and leading global teams, Tom has set the stage for the successful mergers and acquisitions of several startups and early-stage firms. His successes include the implementation of launch strategies, budgeting for marketing and business development, defining campaign performance goals, gathering market intelligence, planning digital tactics, sales enablement, identifying key buying personas, and driving growth results.


Tom’s skill with technology ranges from the integration of new and existing technology platforms including sales and ABM, to AI-based personalization and marketing lifecycle automation.

JAMES FORMANEK

 James has over 26 years of experience as a Business Development Director in diverse verticals in software and IT consulting, with a distinguished career marked by consistent success in driving business growth and exceeding revenue targets. 


With a proven track record of leadership GTM strategy and innovation, James has established himself as a trusted partner for clients, by going above and beyond to ensure their needs are met and expectations exceeded.


As an innovative and strategic leader, James has played a pivotal role in the growth in business development and consulting, focusing on multiple verticals in Financial Services SaaS and FinTech data, communications, reporting and Public Sector investigative software technology. 


His ability to identify opportunities, overcome challenges, and drive meaningful change has positioned him as a trusted advisor and thought leader in the field of business development.


Based outside Minneapolis, Minnesota, James enjoys time with his family and friends, nature hikes, weight training and swimming.

BRAD JONES

With over 25 years of executive leadership experience, Brad has worked in government relations advisor roles in the nonprofit, association and corporate sphere.  Before working as a lobbyist, Brad was a Chief of Staff on Capitol Hill.  


After earning his MBA from Southern Methodist University, Brad worked as an investment banker for Credit Suisse.  His strengths lie in being a strategic leader and starting teams from the ground up.  His work has included several policy areas including compliance, finance, auditing, telecommunications, AI / IT, media, education, defense, and foreign affairs.


Based in the DC suburbs of Northern Virginia, Brad holds a BA from UNC-Chapel Hill and led the cheerleading team there to 2 National Championships.  Brad loves spending time with his three kids and serving the community.  He has served as Senior Warden at his church, and currently serves on the Board for several groups including Treasurer for the refugee group based in Kenya, Elimisha Kakuma, and Restoration Legal Immigration Aid.
