He began his career working for a mid-market PE/VC fund, and also co-founded and served in a C-level role for an award-winning biomedical engineering startup. He earned a degree in Finance, magna cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame, where he was selected to be a member of the prestigious Applied Investment Management honors finance course where students manage a portion of the University endowment under the guidance of the Chief Investment Officer, and also holds a J.D. with Dean's List honors & a concentration in business enterprise (selected coursework taken through the Kellogg School of Management) from Northwestern University.

Jacob is an investment and operating executive with more than 14 years of experience spanning private equity, venture capital, healthcare, and technology commercialization. He has supported the deployment of more than $500 million of capital while advising founders, family offices, investment funds, healthcare systems, and growth-stage companies on strategy, operational transformation, and value creation.
Throughout his career, Jacob has worked on more than 400 technology commercialization initiatives and supported over 50 startup companies across the United States and Europe. His experience includes investment sourcing, due diligence, commercialization strategy, operational improvement, and preparing companies for growth, strategic partnerships, and transactions.
Prior to joining Jupiter Capital, Jacob served as Director of the Institute for Emerging Technologies at Saint Francis Health System, where he led enterprise initiatives in artificial intelligence, digital health, robotics, and emerging technologies. Earlier, he held leadership and advisory roles with Marabek, Sutton Capital, the Oklahoma State University Research Foundation, and Cancer Treatment Centers of America.

After earning his MBA from Southern Methodist University, Brad worked as an investment banker for Credit Suisse. His strengths lie in being a strategic leader and starting teams from the ground up. His work has included several policy areas including compliance, finance, auditing, telecommunications, AI / IT, media, education, defense, and foreign affairs.
Based in the DC suburbs of Northern Virginia, Brad holds a BA from UNC-Chapel Hill and led the cheerleading team there to 2 National Championships.
