Jim commenced his professional journey in traditional consumer lending, acquiring leads from local businesses such as furniture stores and used car dealerships to facilitate consumer financing. This early experience eradicated any hesitation Jim had towards cold calling, paving the way for a career in sales and business development, backed by an extroverted personality.
Jim carries a robust entrepreneurial spirit, evidenced by ventures into diverse businesses. In the early 2000s, Jim ambitiously established a gas station, a dry cleaning service, and a mortgage company within a year. Though a challenging pace, it unveiled a profound passion for building businesses from scratch.
With a keen interest in trading futures and options, Jim relishes the meticulous analysis and decision-making entailed. Following a downturn in the mortgage industry, Jim jumped back into entrepreneurship, founding 57 Equity to focus on commercial financing.
Now, Jim aspires to assist budding and seasoned entrepreneurs, offering guidance and securing appropriate funding to help them thrive.
Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, Jim enjoys travel, hiking and spending time on the family farm.
